YES,
Request #119132 C172 Classic Yoke drifts full right when electrical power is applied.
Its the autopilot. That first beep you hear, happens when power is turned on. The second beep, happens after the AP has finished its PFT (pre flight test) As soon as that second beep happens, the yoke goes right, which is what happens if you engage the AP on the ground.
Messed up part is I don’t see the screen on the AP on, unless you haven’t turned on both avionics switches.
I can manually replicate what you’re seeing, ALT and BAT on, BUS 2 only on. Garmin will come on, I have the beeps but no screen on the AP. After the second beep if I push the AP button my toke turns right.
Something is triggering the AP to engage. Push the AP button and see if the toke returns to normal. Check all your control bindings for the AP. Very randomly controller setting get all messed up with the updates, applies to keyboard and mouse also.
Avionics are off. I don’t use any keyboard or mouse profile’s either ( default).
However, you are correct with autopilot causing this.
100% reproducible but easy to solve.
