Since I live above the arctic circle and worked as a helicopter technician for 25 years i know that we never have to clean the windshield during winter…
Maybe inhibit bugs when ground is snow covered?

If no wish already exists I would recommend to create a new one in the Wishlist category for that visual effect enhancement.
I second this. 3 hours of flight through the middle of Siberian winter had my windshield all covered with bugs - not realistic at all.
