I have just started using the simionic pfd and mfd software. Since there are very few pre-made configurations available I am trying to build a custom configuration for the Grand Caravan.
The config editor is mainly allowing input for the relevant gauges.
As an example, I can configure the ITT range as X - X °C / °F, then configure the four gauge zones (white, green, yellow, red) separately.
I am now wondering where exactly I can find those values in the MSFS files.
Looking at the .cfg files for the Grand Caravan I can for example find the “itt_peak_temperature” as “2000”. According to the documentation that’s “ITT in either °C or °F”… yeah, figured as much. Guessing it’ll be °F when we have a 2000° max.
However I don’t know where to even look for the settings of the G1000 gauges.
Is there a config file for those?
Has anyone else here built a custom config for the simionic displays before?
