This is the type of experience that made me abandon flying MSFS 2020 in 2D even as I was using a triple monitors setup. With my motion sim and my G2 it’s as real as it gets.
Here is a shot of my rig shaking while I was struggling to find the airport landing in Teluride foggy and windy.
Dof reality?
Nope! SFX 100 (open platform that you can build yourself)
nice, I’ve mostly finished phase 1 of my flying/driving rig which just includes shakers… next step is going to be a g-seat and belt tensioner then finally my plan was something similar to the SFX100 combining everything togther.
What are you using for the motion? Simtools?
I’m using the Next Level Racing V3 platform and seat, allows for central or side mounting of the stick. It comes complete with the platform manager software which has pre loaded profiles for all the popular sims including FSX, MSFS 2020, DCS. Very violent straight out of the box, but a few minutes of tuning tames the beast. Nothing like experiencing the vibration and vertical bounce when using helicopters in FS2 or the landing gear hitting the bumps during taxi in MSFS.
Also have a buttkicker attached to produce the engine vibes.
Are you asking for the software to control my SFX100? If that was your question then the answer is Sim Racing Studio coupled with a Thanos box. You can google both
yeah as in which software you were using for motion control, cheers
