ISSUE DESCRIPTION

In FS20, there were several BTs that could be flown in multiplayer mode. Here are a few examples:

  • Germany’s Coasts and the Rhine
  • The Alpine World of Switzerland
  • Austria—Land of Mountains and Music
  • The Baltic Sea coast of Denmark and Sweden
  • Danube Cruise
  • Exploring Greenland
  • Northern and Northeastern Adriatic Countries

Now that these BTs have been ported to FS24, multiplayer mode is no longer available. There is also no general air traffic to be seen. In all of the BTs, you are the only aircraft in the sky.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Invite a friend to join you on the same server.

  2. Start one of the BTs listed above together.

  3. Observe the behavior and general air traffic.

I really hope that this a bug and not a deliberate decision to remove the multiplayer option.

This might be a typo and should be FS20?

Definite that the originals were 20. This report is about the new 24 ones.

How do you go about flying bush trips with friends.? I didn’t even know this was possible in 2020.

It was available in some of the bushtrips in 2020, you would have to have the correct settings (same mutliplayer server and show all players, etc.).

As @IceManDBB says you have to make sure that you are both/all on the same multiplayer server and have your weather settings all the same so that you can see other players that are active.

Once that has been done all you have to do is find the last section in the individual bushtrip .flt file:-

[Multiplayer]
Status=0

Once you set the Status=1 you now have multiplayer available.
It goes without saying that all the participants have to amend their .flt files, plus note that every time there is an upgrade to the sim to check the bushtrips to see if they were replaced so don’t get caught out as you may have to amend them again.
