Buttkicker gamer pro pin on the interconnect broke off, solutions?

One of the pins on the subwoofer side of the cable came out/broke off from the cable. Anyone had this happen and found a way to fix this or make a disconnect, short of cutting the wires and joining them together?

Thanks in advance

It hasn’t happened to me but if it did I would just cut the connector off on both sides, bare the wires then hook join and solder them together, finishing off with a good couple of laps of insulation tape. Note I was an electronics tech in a previous life, so doing such things is second nature to me. Don’t attempt this if you don’t know your way around wiring and a soldering iron!

Or put a new M/F connector on the wires. If you do solder them together it is probably better in the long run to use “heat shrink” instead of tape. Much more durable and looks better too. FWIW

Heat shrink is good too, but it can be difficult to make the joins not look lumpy. You can always combine both and do insulation tape first to provide bulk and evenness then finish off with heat shrink for a pretty and durable finish.

That Happened to mine. I just cut the wires and solder them back together and wrapped in black tape.

i’m pretty good with the soldering iron, so no worries there, but i’d like a disconnect option to remain, so i was hunting around amazon for some sort of male/female type, but unsure what they’d be called… maybe a banana connector?
Possibly these Amazon.com

If you put any heat on plastic electrical tape it melts into a gooey mess. Better to just use Heat Shrink and forget the “bumps”. FWIW

Depending on the number of wires you would probably be better with these https://www.amazon.com/Connectors-Microphone-Connector-Portable-Accessories/dp/B08XNVH7WT/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1IH5AGXXXVBBK&keywords=XLR+connectors&qid=1678206691&s=industrial&sprefix=xlr+connectors%2Cindustrial%2C83&sr=1-3

Not if you apply heat gently and don’t use the cheapest electrical tape. I’ve done it many times successfully with no goo.
