I would like to assign buttons to start and reset the navlog timer but have not been able to find that in the settings. Is that possible?
( I looked for this question in the forums and couldn’t find it, so if it’s out there tell me where the thread is. And is this the right place to ask?)
The same here, i cannot find any way to start the timer by a button ( im playing with the controller but i have a keyboard next to me for quick actions like displaying mavlog)
So my solution is to dive into the autopilot so my hands are free to click on the start or reset buttons, but yes it would be nice to be able to map that function. (I’m new to this so maybe I have it wrong)
I dont like using the auto pilot, he “correct” the power config and direction while i’m using the pointer… so i have to re-adjust. i prefer disable the auto pilot, handle the controller with my left hand and use a small keyboard with my right hand for quick actions. I hope Microsoft will add a feature to map the navlog timer to a button
Hi. Yes of course a mouse is very useful. But, sometimes it can get a bit busy, like on a bush trip and it would be nice to use buttons to control the timer. It’s just a wish list item for some of us.
Now with more experience in bush trips I do think the mouse is a good enough tool. I’m not sure at this point if I would map a keystroke to control the timer anyway since there are so many useful keys already assigned. Not sure how many more key combinations I can process right now.
