I would like if the Devs could add a “Gift” feature to the market place, it could allow someone to purchase a product as a gift to another user…
That’s a great idea to have that included before the gift-giving season starts!

Great idea. Besides christmas, it would also be a nice way to give something back to freeware developers.

With the holidays coming up, does anyone know if there is a way to give someone a gift or gift card to the marketplace?
I haven’t purchased from the marketplace yet so I wasn’t sure if there are payment options like this.
I hear there is an F15 coming out in a few months - May have to add this to Santa’s list

I am interested to know this as well? Is it just a gift card to the Microsoft Store? Or something more specific. This would make great gifts!
I think it would be handy for friends or family to purchase an addon for another user all from within the marketplace
So aside from the business principal of “Don’t limit your revenue intake needlessly”, Grandma is pretty bummed out she can’t buy Grandson the plane he’s been dreaming about for Christmas. Yes, I value the devs’ time and effort on the sim platform, but you really need to spend some time upgrading the marketplace!!!
This is sorely needed… and fast! This really needs to be accomplished before Christmas if at all possible… especially in this year of lockdowns when a) new people are simming; b) existing simmers are simming more; and c) retail opportunities are limited.
I was just looking at the in game market place and I really wish I could gift someone an add on for Christmas in game.
I would love to see this feature added as there are a lot of add ons on sale, I really thought about my flight sim friends that I would have loved to have surprised by gifting them some dlc.
I’m sure there are lots of you out there that wouldn’t mind receiving a marketplace add on too so make sure you vote this wish list feature.

Wow this thread was made 3 months ago I actually thought I was the only one who had this idea and they didn’t even capitalise on this specially for Christmas period. Surly they would have sold more items on the market place by implementing this.
