Hello, I had to reinstall FS2020 this past week-end. I do not remember what to do to allow FS2020 to load quicker by bypassing the ads before the game loads… Any help will be appreciated

This ‘tip’ gets posted around the forums fairly frequently and it is one I use (for the MS store version of MSFS)
Create a new desktop shortcut containing the following command:
cmd.exe /C start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App -FastLaunch

How do I create a desktop shortcut where I can write these instructions? Sorry I had to ask, as I am not nearly as computer savvy as many of our community users are. 
(Sheesh, the depths we have to travel into our computers to operate our flight simulators, huh?)
Right click on the desktop and select new from the poup menu, then select Shortcut. Then you should be prompted to add the above command line.

It isn’t as daunting as it sounds (and this only works if you have the version of MSFS that is from the MS Store- not Steam)
Right click on the desktop and select new>shortcut
Then paste into the box that pops up
cmd.exe /C start shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App -FastLaunch
Click “next” and then name it whatever you like

If you have steam you can go to game properties->options->type -fastlaunch->save
