• No

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• PC, Steam, 1.4.10.0
All gauges in the C152 work as expected, including the turn and bank indicator.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Here is a shot of the Default C152 during a turn, and my problem seems pretty clear.
I stress ‘My’ problem because it is obvious now that what I see is not shared by others, notably E1ephant42.

So I am baffled now - it seems my configuration of the C152 has a fault, or there is a setting in the sim that I have overlooked. By the way, my MSFS2020 version of the C152 works fine, the turn and bank functions OK.

I ran into this problem in running the lessons in FS Academy Interceptor, which uses the C152 aircraft, otherwise I wouldn’t fuss about this minor problem in MSFS2024 C152.
Thanks for the feedback.

Can you test without any addons installed ? Also do you experience it in free flight ?
No issue in free flight on my side.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Problem seems to occur when you mess around with the battery switch (turn it off then on) in straight-and-level flight then make a turn.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I can reproduce this bug. Turn the battery switch off then on and the T&B indicator stops working. Note that the ball slip indicator still works, it’s the bank indicator that stops. Nice debugging @Maki152

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Following steps provided by @Maki152, issue can be reproduced. The alternator switch position seems to also impact the turn coordinator on/off

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Some background: the TC is electrically-driven, so perhaps momentarily turning off the battery master is producing an unrecoverable fault? I’d say check the breakers, but I don’t think they’re operational in the default 152, right?

Good for you Maki152! Thumbs up!
I just did a quick free flight, and while straight and level, toggled both Alt and Bat switches on my Alpha yoke to off and then back on, and sure enough, the bank indicator is now working.

I also tried to recreate the problem by doing the same thing, but that didn’t work.
I am relieved - I thought I had a rogue FS2024 setting to solve.
Thanks for all this feedback to my original plea for help.

Hi,

We’re aware that this is an issue that occurs both in and out of tutorials, so looks to be an MSFS bug. Also similar reports of this occuring with the ADF radio. Both can be recovered by cycling the master switch.

We have updated our INTERCEPTOR support page to reflect this: www.fsacademy.co.uk
