C17 sound not working, it’s crackly

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: the sound of the c17 globemaster is realy crackly and it’s just constantly glitching out. In cockpit view it’s okay but also crackly sometimes.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Always there in external and sometimes in cockpit

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Graphics settings down

  2. Reinstall the game

  3. Volume changes

Hello guys, I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem but the C17 globemaster’s sound is really crackly and almost deafening. It’s just a really annoying sound to hear and it kinda ruins the c17 experience. Is there any way to fix this?

Im having the same issue here.

Crackling audio inside the cockpit and outside causing small performance issues.

Description of the issue: Boeing C-17A Globe Master III external sound issues. Sounds is “crackly” sounds awful, seems FPS is no in sync with the sounds. Unplayable plane as it is.

  2. Spawn in flight or on the ground

  3. Switch to external view

What peripherals are you using, if relevant:

PS5 Pro, Premium Deluxe edition. No other add-on. Headphone Pulse 3D.

Edit, also tried Default, Headphone, Hi-FI and Surround sounds, they all make that crackly sound on my end. However way more obvious when using the headphones as oppose to my sound bar.

I have the same crackling issue with the C-17s engines, I just bought the C-17 today and in external view its very deafening and in cockpit its not as noticeable on PS5
