I am here sitting in the Cessna 172 G1000 on runway 05 at KLWM, Lawrence Muni Airport and I just noticed that the bearing on the PFD reads 316 degrees! The heading of the runway is supposed to be 053 degrees, which is where the Heading Bug is located.
Also located at KLWM is runway 32, which DOES have a heading of 316 degrees. When I started the flight, the sim came up on runway 32 but I changed it to runway 05 - which the PFD shows in the background.
And, it’s repeatable!
You’ve made an interesting finding 
: it is not an issue with the plane but with the airport. Whatever the runway selected (05-23 or 32-14) you always spawn at runway 32 (316 degrees). Feel free to create a new bug report (using the provided template).

, I had the enforce flight plan option set to OFF so that the ATC was deciding which runway to spawn depending of the wind…
@ArtfulDodger254: discard my 1st reply, just make sure you have that option set to ON if you want to spawn at the runway you’ve decided, whatever the wind direction is:
@DementedCorn327 & @Vincent1064 Thanks - I didn’t even know about that setting - there are so many that I don’t know so I try to leave them ALONE - I’m fixing it right now - I have noticed this before but just passed it off to something I had done!
However, it still seems like a bug that the runway is clearly 05 but the heading is 316 degrees?

No, once you change the option and spawn correctly at runway 5, heading on the G1000 is correct as shown on @Vincent1064 screenshot as well as mine:
I got the correct value as well. However, if you do not have that setting, you ask for runway 5, you GET runway 5, your aircraft HAS to be headed towards 05x degrees, yet the PFD shows 186. That has to be a bug!
Sorry but I don’t follow you. Could you provide detailed steps, starting with the World map ?
I think a screenshot showing the PFD, the regular compass and an external shot showing the runway marking is needed. This is such a fundamental issue that the forum would have been in an uproar if it were a common bug.
