C172 G1000 - Spots on side windows of aircraft

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: I have been flying the C172/G1000 and notice these spots on the side windows. They dance around the window while flying. At first, I thought they were rain drops but I have them even when it is severe clear out. Then I thought they might be reflections of something, but I can’t figure out what they would be a reflection of. They are distracting and look out of place.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: C172 but it may very well be others as well.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? This is a completely stock MS FS 2024 install with no addons.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Each flight.

Fly in the C172/G1000 or possibly other planes.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

During daytime flight, there are often odd reflections in the interior on the side windows of the C172 (G1000) looking like a string of small balls which twinkle a bit and also move along a line as the aircraft continues to fly. The screen capture shows a line of the artifacts but much duller than experienced in game.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?
I don’t believe so.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
C172 (G1000). Could be other aircraft but I’ve been almost exclusively testing SU2 in the C172.

Yes

Most daylight flights.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Select the C172 (G1000).
  2. Create a day time free flight.
  3. While flying pan towards the pilot’s or co-pilot’s door windows and observe the odd reflections.

I experience it with Developer Mode enabled or disabled.

• I too am seeing a larhge white dot out the right window in the c172 I have turned of the lights and it does occur on other aircraft as well. No way to remove it that I can see.
