C208B: Cargo Door remains open in Career Mode

After walkthrough and entering the aircraft, the cargo door opens and cargo is lost during flight.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Start a Cargo Medium mission with the Caravan
2. (Modify EFB after accepting the mission?)
3. Do the walkthrough
4. Get inside the cockpit & start engines
5. In some missions the cargo door stays open, no warning visible on the dashboard
6. Cargo gets lost mid-flight (even though it’s securely tied down)
7. Open doors don’t seem to affect aerodynamics & no wind noise is audible.

In some missions the cargo door stays open

The door stays open on the ground after the walkaround or it opens itself during the flight ?
Are you able to reproduce in free flight ?

I can’t reproduce it in free flight, and it doesn’t happen often. It may be connected to changing the flight plan in the EFB and filing it with ATC after accepting the mission, but it’s inconclusive.

Once you do the walkaround and get into the cockpit, it may or may not open by itself.

The doors are closed during the walkaround, but since I don’t use external view during pre-flight and takeoff, I only notice it mid-flight.

The reproduction rate is 0-50%, since it doesn’t happen every time.

I also once had this issue, but as you can see the cargo is still inside. Instead I often had my cargo vanishing while the door was still closed, so I think these are two separate bugs.

Yes, there is a separate report for that issue: C208: Cargo disappears during the flight

For me it actually vanishes after a while. I thought that since it does not affect aerodynamics, I might as well complete the mission, thinking that this is just a cosmetic issue. Then after a while I noticed that the cargo (secured with nets) is gone, so I restarted the mission.

The vanished cargo is also just a cosmetic issue, you can just complete the mission without it
