As you see in pic, i got a cabin altitude warning.
I can’t see at OHP what went wrong?
All is good except on the right hand side of the overhead, the FLT ALT (flight altitude) and LAND ALT (landing altitude) need to be entered.
Since when do I have to set these two and if I turn the knobs nothing happened? Did I missed something?
Shouldn’t the Isolation Valve be on Auto, too?
You have an Auto Fail warning lamp lit.
I tested it but the warning remains.
Shouldn’t make any difference, it’s just the cross connect.
What do i have to do to get rid of the warning light?
As to since when, well I’ve been flying the PMDG 737’s from the day they were released and this has always been needed, or you will get that alarm.
You will not get the alarm to clear instantly by setting these.
You need to click the trip reset in the pressurization panel and it may take some time.
Where is the pressurization panel? And where is the trip reset?
Just above the FLT ALT entry window.
OK found it. Test if the red light will disappear after some time.
I think you need a bit of time spent familiarizing yourself with the aircraft here.
No offense intended.
These are modeled after reality. You need to understand the systems and how to manage them.
Unfortunately, the red light remains. Is there anything else I can do to solve this?
Yes, follow the procedures listed above and after everything comes to normal, press the reset. and go back to auto.
But there is no button for donning oxygen masks to passengers?
To get rid of the warning light, follow the checklist. Ignore the oxygen mask step. Just set the Pressurisation mode selector to manual and hold the valve above it to “close” until the indicator above the switch shows completely empty. Then you can hold it to open if you want to repressurise or set the selector back to auto. Light should be out.
Checklist doesnt work for me. I got this red light in the air and landed. I started the sim back up the next morning and the light is still on, on the ground. As I have tried everything to get rid of this light, I suppose my next step is re-installing the aircraft.
It just happens, but I kept switching bottoms and suddenly stopped
Yup, easy cheese , thank you
