Cabri engine shuts down as soon as I increase collective during the Rotorcraft Commercial Pilot License activity

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: When I try and do the rotorcraft commercial pilot license my engine shuts off when increasing the collective on the ground right after engine start using auto start. I was able to successfully take off and get half way to the destination the first time and then crashed. If it is immediately after engine start, increasing the collective to around 75% kills the engine, but if I let it run for a second and increase rpm and power then it shuts off at 1% collective.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? The past 3 or 4 times after the first one.

Edit: also happening when spawning on the runway during free flight, it seems like something is shutting down the engine

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. auto start engine in the pilot license activity

  2. either wait for full rpm or right after the engine starts increasing rpm

  3. increase the collective to 100% and it shuts down at some point

Do you experience the same issue in free flight ?

Yes, however, I just tested the S-64F Skycrane and that flew fine, I will try switching back to a different control profile to see if I may have messed something up.

Ok, yes issue could be due to an incorrect binding so good idea to review the controls for the Cabri.

In free flight changing back to the default x56 profile worked, trying again in career seems to work too. I guess I must have bound something wrong, not bound a function, or something with my controller is bugging out. Thanks for the help!

Moved to User Support Hub since not a bug.

Now it works but about half way through the initial flight I loose all control and am unable to recover. I tried doing what people recommended for vortex ring state recovery. I cannot recover no matter what I try.

I believe the issue was a ghost input enabling the rotorbrake. Removing the keybind for it allowed me to finish it.
