Cabri G2 (Native) Practise Autorotation

In real life, my helicopter can be forced into autorotation by just pushing down on the collective (after saying on the RT “practise autorotation”). I can’t get the same thing on MSFS. The idea in real life is to maintain main rotor momentum during the descent by keeping a careful eye on the NR speed on the way down to the chosen ground spot with careful control. As things are on my PC I do have directional control during the descent but I can’t change the NR with the cyclic pitch. Despite changes in pitch and airspeed, the main rotor speed doesn’t change. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

I will have to test in the G2 to see if I have the same results, but I was having the same issue in the NDDG S300CBi. See the video below…yes, you should be able to manage the rotor rpm with the collective and cyclic during autorotation. I believe it’s a limitation with the MSFS flight model at the moment.
