ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: At higher elevations (but within standard operating envelope), the Cabri G2 appears to lose rotor speed before MLI reaches 100%.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start a free flight with ‘Clear Skies’ weather preset in the Cabri G2 at a high-evelation airport (e.g. YHOT - elevation 4246ft)

  2. Check that the ‘GOV OFF’ light is extinguished. Enter a hover and slowly increase power until about 82-83%

  3. Observe that the Rotor RPM is now decreasing. The governor should increase power to 100% to prevent a drop in Rotor RPM. I conclude either that the MLI is not displaying the correct value, or that the Cabri G2 is underpowered (or both?).

  4. (please note that standard operating procedure in the Cabri G2 is for the mixture to be left on FULL RICH during flight)

  5. (please ALSO note that expected behaviour when engine has insufficient power to maintain rotor RPM is the needles should split - engine RPM will stay static or increase, while rotor RPM falls)
