Cadet Yoke and FFB modification combined

Having finished my PA-28 Arrow III, Cessna 172 SP, and Cessna 172 G1000 panels I decided to rebuild my yoke setup. I printed just the yoke handles from the Cadet Yoke on thingiverse. I gutted my old Saitek yoke for the controller PC and shaft. Combined these items with JCLOVE’s FFB he made from a Sidewinder and poof. A new and better yoke is in the build. Picture is the very start. I plan on filling the handles with expandable foam when done and tested. This will give it a more solid feel.

How does the FFB feel from the sidewinder? I have one that I’ve parted and I’m thinking of trying to port it to the honeycomb alpha. Not sure if it’s worth it or trying to make something using stronger motors. I only got like 30 minutes of flight time on the sidewinder and so I never got to feel it properly.

I love it. Fully adjustable from too much to not enough. I used JCLOVE’s mod and just built it in to my base for all three panels. Also used the Cadet Yoke from thingiverse.

Ready for SU10 now. Still shows the Saitek yoke handle. New one goes on tomorrow Flying with a beer. Got a love it.

Could you link me to any information about the JCLove’s mod? would be appreciated.

I’ll try. Not too good at that. If you search JCSLOVE you should find it. It’s a modification of a MS Sidewinder stick. It under Saitek FFB yoke.

Unfortunately can’t seem to find any data under the name “JCSLove saitek yoke mod” maybe changed name? not sure.

nevermind - just found it thanks

Cadet Yoke almost done.
