I have a problem, since I switched to DX12, I have this kind of recurring camera bug, it goes away and comes back, it does it whether it’s in the air or on the ground I don’t know what to do. I even tried lowering the graphics but nothing helped. If anyone has a solution, I’d love to hear from you.
I’ve had this issue since May, so not sure in my case its related to driver updates. The A380 has been far worse, it was previously only occurring on long flights. On the A380 it happens literally every time I switch to external view.
Yes, I am noticing the same weird stutter deal.. switching from windowed to full screen or vice versa seems to be a fix for now. . . I also am not on the latest Nvidia driver though im still on 560.94
I have the same. I done clean install od NVidia. Never had this before A38X. Additionally I have screen freeze to death, can’t do anything more. Sometimes changing any settings helps but this is not really fix.
I’ve been doing some testing for a thrd party developer doing aircraft for MSFS24 using MSFS2020, thats when I first noticed it so thought it may be an issue relating to MSFS24 aircraft in 2020. That said seeing that others are now seeing with A380 I’ve done a hunt on their support discord. Found this:
*For people with camera panning-related wobbling/stutters - this is a Nvidia frame gen issue (even with RTX 4090s) probably because of the high RAM/VRAM usage of the A380 with DX12 enabled (Frame gen requires DX12). Use 4K livery textures instead of 8K, Turn your graphics TEXTURE RESOLUTION from Ultra to High, “turn off” the cabin by clicking on the hidden clickspot in one of the 4 tiny “HAT ONLY // MAXIMUM LOAD // 1KG/2.21LB” placards on the back of the cockpit wall (the cabin will remain switched off for your next flights), and if you still get camera panning stutters, go to options, turn off frame gen, go back into the game, and then go back to options and turn frame gen back on. *
EDIT: If the stutters come back, get Rivatuner (from MSI Afterburner), or use your preferred FPS limiter, and set the FPS limit to 60FPS. Sometimes the stutters may return after an extended period of alt-tabbing out of MSFS, or with the monitor switched off. Turn off Frame Gen in the MSFS options, click apply, and then re-enable Frame Gen. (edited) Jump
I have a sweet spot at the moment in terms of MSFS settings, so don’t reallly want to start adjusting things too much, I just put up with it and use the Alt Enter to flick between Windowed and Full screen when it happens, but the above may help. Would be interested to see if this helps anyone.
I have set my FPS limit to 60 in the Nvidia app program settings for MSFS and it seems to allow me to go into external view without the stutters every time, but need to test to see if it returns. Previously they occured every time I went to external view so looking promising so far.
