Can I configure the start-up configuration of the cockpit of MD 500E CowanSim?

Hello all,

I am looking for the file where I can change the setting of the cockpit at startup in the MD 500E of CowanSim.

Would anyone know where to find that file? I want to turn off the ignition key in cold & dark state, because that is standard on now, which is strange. Or is this all encrypted and not accessible?

If anyone knows please let me know.

You would be looking for the .FLT files which contain the options you want to change. in the SimObjects > Airplanes > Helicopter_500E folder are apron.FLT hangar.FLT and runway.FLT

Yes you are right, those are the files that I searched for. However I tried the “EngineMasterSwitch”, “StarterSwitch” and the “IgnitionSwitch”, but none do anything.

Would you by chance know which exact command I have to change to rotate the starter key to off in the beginning?
