Can I play CLOUD MSFS on a my friends PC, using my MS-Store account to login?

If I visit someone with a PC, who does not have MSFS or game pass, but I have a PC MS-Store account and own the Premium version, – can I log in with his PC and my account info, and show him MSFS over the cloud. ?

Note: Neither of us have any sort of game pass account.

IF a Gamepass account is needed, which type, and can he be the one with the games-Pass account ? (and not me) - but I can log into my account on his PC and fly premium with my ms-store purchases assets ?

I have not been able to find this sort of detail about MSFS Cloud anywhere.. am I looking in the wrong places, and if so, where should I look ? (apart from here !! )

If cloud MSFS is browser based, can that browser be on a MAC ??

I’m not going to say impossible but I think it unlikely as you would have to take ownership of his PC and you certainly can’t have two versions of the same MSFSs install running at the same time (except maybe for family on the same IP). If there is a way for your friend to view from the copilot’s seat it wil be using Air manager or similar and/or streaming using tools such as OBS recorder etc. Don’t forget that if your friend did buy/rent a copy he can always join you in multiplayer (although not in your plane).

It seems to me that MSFS is a mixture of cloud based technology with installed code and data on a PC or an Xbox. So I can’t see that you could run the sim on a PC where the code & data is not installed. Unless there’s something I don’t know, of course.

I think @N6722C is talking about Xbox Cloud Gaming rather than a local install of MSFS.

From what I understand, to get access to the Cloud Gaming beta service you need a valid Game Pass Ultimate subscription. If you logged in under your Xbox Live ID then I assume things like your settings etc would carry over, but I doubt anything else would. Certainly not 3rd party stuff. If it was your friend’s Game Pass then it would be in effect a vanilla install of MSFS.

On PC, Cloud Gaming is browser-based and works in Edge and Chrome. Safari on iOS is supported but MacOS is not mentioned. So maybe it’ll work, maybe it won’t.
