Yeah I didnt back it up and deleted it by mistake. I couldn’t get the airport to work anyway so it was a waste
Have you tried running the simulator? It should notice that it is missing a piece and then download that missing piece again.

If the sim doesn’t notice the missing file on start up,delete a little bit more of the SAME folder.

Its not rebuilding anything on startup! I deleted the whole containing folder and it stayed deleted.
You need to delete the parent directory (fs-base-genericairports) for game to be able to detect the missing content upon launch and download it again, either on startup or via content manager. Game does not detect missing subfolders or files inside the addons folders themselves. It only detects missing main folders.
If you want to be safe just move that folder out of game directory to keep it as a backup.
