Can I run three displays on a 3070?

I have a amd Ryzen 7 16GB ram and 3070TI graphics card. I am running a TCL 55 inch tv and I started adding another screen that was a little smaller just to see if it works and it does at around 30 FPS. Before buying two additional 55 inch tvs to match. Do you think I have the capabilities to run on 3? Thanks in advance!

well… depends on your scaling setting

3x Full-HD should be ok nativly, 3x 4K may be not. Therefore the in-game scale-setting exist. The SU10beta bring some multi-mon improvments too, but have’nt it checked in detail.

here are also intressting topics for triple monitors setups:

I don’t speak from experience but IMO the 3070 should run 3x 1440p (with DLSS) just fine on a high/ultra config. You don’t give your cpu spec but I would be confident of my 3800X and high LODs.

3x 4k(DLSS) would not be a slideshow but 30fps maybe a bridge too far.

I’m running 3x 43" Tv’s with a ROG Strix 3070. I have the center on 4k native, and the sides on 1080. I am using DLSS Performance mode, and get solid 30fps unless I go to LAX.

That sounds about right to me, I’d have to dumb down the centre for my 3060

Three 1080p 27" monitors and an ASUS 3080, I insist on running it higher than Ultra but get fair to meh performance all loaded with mods.

Unfortunately for me DX12 is nerfed in the beta otherwise I’d love to report great things for multimonitor … maybe next time huh!

What?

DX12 and multi monitor are not self exclusive.

Of course but I thought there was considerably less of a hit with 12. At least that’s how it was with popping out panels to another screen, I haven’t touched it for a while though.

I run three 1080 on a 3070 with everything maxed out to ultra and have no problems.

3x 1920x1080 is no problem at all (all settings on ultra).
3x 2560x1440 all settings on ultra gave less fps and possibly you have to lower your settings.
3x 4K is only possible with very low settings to get acceptable fps.

Thanks for the responses. Im having great difficulty getting msfs2020 to import the two additional screens in order. I have them identified as 1, which is center, 2 is right screen and trying like hell to import the left window into screen 3. When I open the sim, it shows center as cockpit and right side, but cant move screen into it. Any ideas, or a simple instruction? Im 54 and this is not my forte’. Thanks so much for the help!

Mouse click on the screen you want to move, hit alt+enter to put in windowed mode, move as needed, alt enter again to restore.

You can align the screens with NVIDIA control panel if you have it, I think it is under configure surround.

The easiest way to have triple monitor configuration is to set it up with Nvidia Surround.
You find it under NVidia configuration.
Both multi monitor support options Nvidia and Asobo are not yet perfect.
They both have distortion on left and right monitors.
Asobo has gradient deformation while panning up and down your viewpoint.
Nvidia has stretching on left en right monitor views, but the views stays horizontal aligned.

You all have been so helpful! I now have all 3 55 inch tvs setup as center screen 1, left 2 and right 3. Funny thing is that ot all works when in the sim, but the main screen still shows on the left for menus. No biggie. Hopefully my last question on this issue; when sitting in my cockpit, how can i zoom out a little on the side monitors? I started my DC6 and the ride side is all jacked up and I cant zoom it in, or out only do the three sliders for the roll etc… my frame rates dropped(im thinking because of all of the extra instruments showing on right side of cockpit. Thoughts? Im loving this sooooo much!
