can I use a Samsung tablet for FMC in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, A320 NEO etc. I would love to be able to type on a tablet and not use a mouse to click everything.

I use a Samsung S6 as an MFD amd input device for the GA glass aircraft and it works a treat. I use Spacedesk to get it connected.

Wow, thanks. do you think I could do that and use my tablet as a lifelike FMC?

Which program for connection is good for use with an iPad?

I was literally just now wondering the same thing (iPad)

same app: spacedesk

Any chance of more specifics on setup please?

There s an app on android called, fs radio. You might wanna check that out for fmc.
I am bit unsure if you can window out fmc window in cockpit using right alt + click, If so, then you can use apps like spacedesk to convert your tab into another monitor and drag fmc window there.

I JUST did the above activity yesterday on my my ipad along with experimentation on touch portal.
Basically after setting up space desk ,your ipad will become an extension of monitor display. After this, press right alt and left click button to window out (mfd, pfd, fmc etc) and drag it to your ipad using your mouse cursor.
Do note that you have to be careful about setting resolution in spacedesk app.

In fact, I use 2 tablets on my panel plus a 15 inch Windows touchscreen. The latter is less functional, but in the future, who knows? Both of the tabs connect via WiFi but also, I guess that this offloads or minimises load on the GPU as well.

I might actually start using the Fmc properly now!

You can also use “Splashtop Wired XDisplay”

On my a320 I can only Ralt+Lclick the screen on the FMC. I also notice spacedesk has to be used in a LAN situatioin. I am only running 1 PC…

Your tablet will connect through your pc via wifi.
Regarding fmc, if the panel isnt popping up as a whole then i think we will have to wait for a mod that can window out the fmc or alternatively you may try the fsradio app on android in which you can configure fmc via the app itself. I haven’t tried it since I personally fly propeller aircrafts more often.

I am embarrased i habe taken so long to reply to you all. i am very sorry, but i have had some health issues… thank you all for your input. i will try again… cheers.

I listened to you all and Installed free FS Radio Panel. Got it going, after a couple of tweaks, and LOVE it. It works with a few msfs aircraft and the multi choice panels are awesome. I up graded to the Pro version. This is a brilliant add on for all types of flying. I can enjoy the scenery and make AP adjustments right by my fingers. Panel switches, lighting, flaps, gear, AP, Radio Panel, Appr, Map, PFD without bouncing my mouse all over the place. Something for everyone. ( p.s. I am not a sales man for tambucho.)

Hi will you be able to also tell me what are the add ons pls?

Hi Don, FS Radio Panel . FsRadioPanel – Android App Development You install the server on your PC and the Radio Panel on your Tablet. It has Radio, Mini PFD, AP, Switches, Map and more.

Thank you very much sir
