I have checked all my settings but in the training lesson on takeoffs and landing I can’t get up to the required speed. either the instructor says I’m too far down the runway or I’m not going fast enough I have tried revving up the motor before releasing the breaks. I am using honeycomb alpha yoke, Logitech throttle, Logitech foot pedals. the throttle all 3 levers are full forward. getting frustrated. I’m totally new to this and I need to do the training missions.
Which aircraft are you flying in the training mission?
Some basic questions that may sound elementary but trying to understand:
Have you checked your throttles to make sure MSFS is working compatible with them?
Have you looked in the settings where you assign controllers, to make sure they are assigned to “axis” settings?
Flight model is set to modern?
Maybe the CG bug? Which aircraft are you on? C152?
Had this very often with my trims completely down on many planes, caused by a wrong controller setting.
When you apply full power on the throttle, is the plane also on full throttle (100%)? If you apply full power and leave the mouse pointer on the throttle lever, what does it show? 100% or less?
Check that your brakes arent partially on. I’m having this problem and my brakes were defaulting to 50%
Did you move all the handles a bit again to make sure the handles in the sim are in the same position?
Are you at Sedona? I think you have to lean the mixture (red handle) there because the airport is high up.
Release the brakes.
FLAPS down?
I bet he had full mixture at Sedona training flight because he has a throttle quadrant. At that altitude you have to lean the mixture for takeoff or it will take ages.
