Hi
Here is my problem. I created a flight plan within MSFS 2020 (World Map) and I chose my departure from a parking area. I saved it onto my PC. Then I clicked FLY and then READY TO FLY. I then started the engine with the shortcut “ctrl + e” without any problem and continued the flight as it had been planned.
I wanted to repeat the flight so this time I downloaded my saved flight plan (.pln). I ended up at my parking area, with the flight plan loaded into the plane (Cessna 172 skyhawk with G1000) and the engine waiting to be started. But a few seconds after start up, the engine cuts himself off.
I tried to start it through the check up list and everithing. Still the same result. I went through a few tutorials without success. What am I missing?
Thank you
I will take note

First, I smiled when I read the answer. Good one I thought.
Then I checked.
Then I filled it up.
Then the motor kept running!
Thanks for the short and very good answer Blitzer 303

While there was an element of humour in my post it was also intended be something to check.
It can be easy to assume something like this is a bug or fault with the sim, but sometimes it can just be case of a lack of fuel. For more detailed “study” level aircraft this could have been down to a popped circuit breaker.
Glad this sort the issue for you though.
