Simple question: Can one purchase MSFS 40th Edition Premium Deluxe as a gift for someone on Xbox, and can they download and use it on Xbox WITHOUT having a GamePass subscription?

OK, thanks for the reply. I subscribe to Game Pass, then purchased MSFS 40th Premium during the Thanksgiving sale for myself, and I remember it said Game Pass required… but that might have been “required for the discount” … the wording was typically vague and incomplete…
You will need xbox live Gold for online multiplayer stuff!

XB Series X or S. Both work, but S has way worse graphics. So if money is not a point for you, you should definitly buy the Series X as this is the way more powerfulll console with the way better value for the money. If you want the Series S, look for the 1TB Version, as the old S with 512 GB is not well suited for this memory usage beast of FS.
Conclusion: Buy the Series X if you can and the money isnt’ the problem!!!
But don’t buy an XB One X or XB One S!!! This are old lastgen consoles, which can’t run the Filghtsim at all.
