VR users are suffering with poor performance as compared to 2D gaming.
I implore you to work with nvidia in any way possible to bring some form of proper frame gen to VR users.
Nvidia Reflex 2 appears to have motion extrapolation frame gen, which would be wonderfully ideal for VR.
Although we have measures like ASW, SSW and other techniques, they are inherently problematic and have artifacts that would be well leveraged by AI.
We’ve noted for some time the availability of both depth and motion based reprojection in the UI.
Same here.
And confirmed by Zendesk that VR is not a priority at all based on numbers.
XBox is clearly the priority now.
New console this year, anyone?
Cheers!
p.s. And perhaps it is a bit ‘our’ fault. Look at the Wishlist thread, no VR users posting almost, but look at all the people suggesting whatevers to career mode… there you have it.
I think they make the same mistake as the flight simulator they put out after the decision of terminating the fsx. Not focusing on the hardcore community that has passion.
I start to see people going back to 2020 as they are so frustrated by the poor quality of 2024. They probably hired the QA guy from Boeing
I am very disappointed, even because I am also in IT development and I cannot understand how they could have went to such a situation. Either you delay, or you reduce the scope… hopefully they are not writing software for real aircraft…
I’m actually thinking in ‘forgetting’ about 2024 for a while at least.
For over a month now, the joy of flying is gone, I constantly feel like I must TEST this thing, and write emails back and forth with Zendesk.
This is affecting me a lot, since Sim Flying is my kind of meditation and a beautiful way of forgetting about being a grown up answering emails and paying bills.
Right now, I’m sitting in front of my rig, I wish to fly 2024, but I miss the feeling while flying 2020.
Oh! And the hotfix from yesterday, those lucky Xbox S! users… hahahahah
Dementia.
