Same here, Scotland. Had to uninstall OpenXR now stuck on checking for updates screen!

Yep it’s back again (Netherlands). SMH
It would have been nice if MS or Asobo would really solve a problem instead of just a quick fix and don’t bother about it anymore and this isn’t only for this problem!

Certain parts of Europe and the United States are experiencing issues with Microsoft Azure.

Yup Same, first instance loaded the sim, blue loading bar went up to 90% then stayed there for about 15 minutes. ALT-F4’d the sim, and since then “Checking for Updates” limbo.

I was able now on PC to connect first to a USA VPN location, then the sim loaded in again. May work for others on PC too

Sim down too in UK…First of all it crashed in use to blank screen. On restart several failed startups …now firmly stuck on “checking for updates”. Server failure clearly

Scotland, took an age to load and now I’m in, there were no pictures on loading sceens and no pictures in store just writing and descriptions, suppose they are getting there though.

They’ve now updated it to a global outage

You only know when it happends. I’ve had my settings back to default already 7 times this year with 5x in the last 2 months and 2 yesterday. Don’t be surprised if this is the case again with this outage.

Same in italy. After many restarts, sim stucks on check for updates, loading screen or at 80% before flight starts

Keeps asking me to insert disc! Assuming it’s the Azure outage
