The new website sign up for this beta is proving problematic as Safari is giving an error when trying to load it. “Too many redirects”

New website? IIRC you need to go through XBOX Insider Hub and join the beta there unless MSFT changed the process?

Correct, it’s done through the Insider Hub.

I am signed up and Insider Hub confirms it, but of course MSFS 2024 ignores this and proceeds to the game load. Fantastic engineering.

Can you explain what you mean, did you just not get the SU3 Beta update?

you know you need to check in MS Store and get the beta from there?

There is a new process for this as of today, instead of using the Xbox Insider Hub

The link to be able to write doesn’t open always gives an error here for me

Is this only happening in Safari, or have you tried another browser like Edge or Chrome too?

I just tried again and now the link opened without problems in chrome I already wrote myself in beta

Website now comes up in Safari but I get an error when trying to submit now.

Not connected to this problem but just FYI, Steam is still showing the beta branch as SU2 even though SU3 is what’s installed.

All signed up correctly but after every re boot still loads SU2

Did you also join the MSFS 2024 beta in the Xbox Insider Hub app? If not, you need to select the MSFS 2024 beta there. After joining, restart your PC and open Xbox app

Since you are on steam, you can disregard the sign-up instructions for MS-Store users.

I’m not on Steam, so cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate, but for Steam users the instructions are (I think) the same as for the Beta 2 build, as outlined in this post

STEAM

  1. Open your Steam Library
  2. Right-click Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
  3. Click “Properties”
  4. Click “Betas”
  5. Select “flight_sim_beta – Sim Update 2"

[Edit: Despite saying “Sim Update 2” it will enroll you in Sim Update 3, as kindly confirmed by @DeePreed and @TheShavenWookie a few posts further on in this topic.]

I joined via the hub and its sill showing SU2.

nope, only shows SU2 beta in steam for me, but ill reboot and check again. SU2 is working incredibly well, BTW, so im not in a huge rush.

Hey Asobo, I think you guys are absolutely keeping your promises with these updates, and I appreciate all your obvious hard work on this sim. Thank you. VR is a seamless experience now.

EDIT: nope, rebooting Steam did not help. Might be a steam server push thing. Has anyone using steam been able to see SU3 beta in the beta list?

When SU2 went final I opted out of the beta program in Steam. The next day when SU3b was released I opted back in. When I did Steam only listed SU2b but I went ahead and opted back in anyway and Steam downloaded an update for FS24. When I next launched FS24 I checked the version and it displayed 1.5.1.0 which is SU3b :slightly_smiling_face:

Good morning - I have followed the process to sign up for Beta 3 however when i come to start the sim it doesn’t do the update it still on the original version - am I doing something wrong?
