Does anyone know if we can create our own 2024 community folder? Or do we have to use the 2020 location?
If we can point it to a different folder, where? How?
Ive been searching for this answer also. Sim is stuck at 97% loading but concious wasnt asked for any locations on initial startup like that of 2020. I do not want my community folder on my C: drive. I want it on a faster m.2 drive.

Not sure this is the one. I do have this folder, but I also have this folder for MSFS 2020 in my C drive and I never use it. I used my Community folder that I chose for my D drive.

What if we don’t want ours on the C drive though? My MSFS 2020 is on D drive.
UPDATE: I don’t think this is the correct location that you mentioned. I have this Community folder for MSFS 2020, too, in my C drive and I have never used that one.

MSFS 2020 would have the name “Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe” but for MSFS 2024 it’s “Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe”
I am not sure if you could change the community folder path. You can change the main installation path to D drive but i’m not sure if it affects the community folder. 
That I’ve done, will wait and see then once it finally finishes loading.
You could change it during the initial sim startup in 2020. Concerned its now locked to my smaller SSD rather than a different faster nVME drive
For me, via Windows/Xbox App, I installed it on D: drive… so I guess we will see once it finishes installing. Taking WAY too long to be a Microsoft game, sigh.
I could not find a setting to change the location.
That’s not good.
Surely we can change its location in the “UserCfg.opt” file? Not tested yet as sim been trying to load for past 60 minutes

There is a line in the usercfg.opt for “installed” content which you can change, but not for the streamed content.
