Can you bypass throttle detents and control the throttle 0-100% with a single button?

Was in the F-18 earlier and went to decrease my throttle using LB on my controller (what I mapped decrease throttle to) and the throttle only went down to about 80% and stopped. It apparently hit a detent and there is another button combo to get it to go past the detent.

I don’t want this. I want to be able to press RB/LB and increase/decrease my throttle freely between 0 and 100%. Is this possible? Am I missing a controller mapping somewhere?

Same in Cessna Grand Caravan, hope there is a get around.

I just did my Turboprop Engine Rating and my landing for that was more of a crash because of this feature. Some of my favorite aircraft to fly are stuck with this so I hope they make a bypass of there isn’t none

any workaround yet?

On landings, I always have to pull the throttles back but at the same time press F1 to go over de detent…

I found a workaround. You just have to go into controller settings and bind both the throttle up detent and throttle down detent to A and B.
