While in flight, i sometimes like to adjust the throttles with my mouse. In single throttle aircraft this works well. But in multi-throttle aircraft i can’t do this because i cannot figure out a way to grab both throttles at the same time. Does anyone know how to do this?
Oh I agree… I would sure like to know because in real life every twin pilot moves both pitch levers at the same time initially and then makes small changes to each lever singly.
If you aren’t using your num pad for trim or anything else for that matter, you can map the numbers to throttle percentages such as 1 = 10%, 2=20% etc. up to 9 = 90% or whatever you want. I do that and it comes in handy in a pinch. And it works equally well on dual engines.
I used it often before I received my Bravo Throttle Quadrant and I still use it on occasion. Especially to nail a 70% throttle in the TBM to pull the ITT’s down to maximums without running hot.
