I enjoy MSFS and I love flying R/c model aircraft.
My R/c aircraft are flown with a HD camera and a set of goggles.
This is referred to as FPV flying in the model world. (fpv=first person view)
I can simulate the video in MSFS but not the physics.
Typical wingspan of a model is 4 feet.
Typical weight 32 oz.
Typical flying speed 20 to 60 mph.
Engine HP fractional.
Hello, yes you can. Like the DHC Beaver, the twin Otter. The Bell 407 Helicoptor.
I also fly RC. My Hanger consists of an Electric Hanger 9 1/5 Scale Cub And a 1/4 Scale Sopwith Electric Triplane, with sound for Rotory motor and machine guns.
Ok I think I need to use the Defining A Flight Model - SDK Documentation
It looks like a lot of stuff to enter. Not a quick job and I have never had much luck with the scenery SDK and there were several videos on doing that. I will look into it further . The club field I fly at is in photogrammetry. I thought if I used a rolling cache it would use those graphics since I will be running MSFS off line (no internet at the field). But it does not and the graphics are pretty bad when flying off line… I am using a rc transmitter for the flight controls. That works very nice…
