Cannot control cockpit buttons with Thrustmaster T flight Hotas 4 (PS5 Pro)

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

When using the Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas 4 I can not interact with anything in the cockpit(auto pilot, trim, Nav, mixture, etc etc). I have freelook mapped and cursor mapped to Hotas. I can look around and the tooltip shows up on all components but there is a “?” Where a button bind should be to interact. I found the exact option that should define a bind to interact called “INTERACTION LOCK” but adding any combination of binds does nothing. The “?” Remains and I can on no way use the hotas flight stick to control the cockpit.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

    1. Settings/ Controls/ under device list select T.Flight Hoyas 4

  2. Select Cockpit/ Cockpit Interactions

  3. Find INTERACTION LOCK and create a bind then try it in game. The “?” Should remain and no binding will work to interact with cockpit while using hotas 4

I can raise and lower gear, operate the rudder, answer the ATC, alter the throttle, apply the brakes on my Hotas 4 in PS5.
Best thing is add a mouse to the front port of your PS5. Works a treat.
I have keyboard, Hotas 4, controller and mouse.

I have all that minus keyboard and yes can now use Luis’s for cockpit interaction but still I think it needs to be fixed so hotas can control cockpit alone. Everyone should not be required to buy a mouse or use controller for those controls. Hotas is well capable enough and it seems that 90% of the functionality is there already just can’t seem to register when you map a button/bind to the hotas

The key difference with the Hotas 5 compared to the Hotas 4 is the updated MSFS branding and refined button layout. In total, the unit features 14 buttons, 1 trigger, and 1 hat switch. Thrustmaster has also added additional inputs on the throttle base, aimed at improving in-sim navigation and profile switching. However, the underlying control systems and axes remain unchanged from the Hotas 4.
