Cannot delete/remove Items not installed in Content Manager

Hi all,

I have an aircraft that is not installed showing in the Content Manager that I want to delete but cannot see a method to do this, it was from Marketplace, it was the FBW 32nx which was made unusable by a previous msfs update.

Anybody?

regards

Steve

I believe Marketplace purchases go into the Official - One Store folder, not the Community folder. So maybe find it and delete it from the Official - One Store folder. Cheers.

It has already been removed from the Official folder and had gone from the content manager but after a recent msfs update it’s back again but the folder isn’t. The Official and Community folders were once buried deep in the folder structure but now are easier to get to.

If you bought it from the MarketPlace, it will always show in the Content Manger, even when it has been deleted.
It will be listed as not installed.

Search the wish list area, there is one for this.

Yeah, have been doing some experimenting, and you’re right. As well as Marketplace items, seems same with Asobo/MSFS items, ie cannot be deleted from Content Manager. Cheers.

I downloaded the FBW 32NX originally via flightsim.to which pointed me to FBW website. A few weeks ago, all was ok then next time I couldn’t see the cockpit or aircraft on external view. I doesn’t seem to matter if market place or not, other items show in content manager when not installed. With some help on the FBW forum/discord we found a 32nx folder in the Official folder which when deleted, the one in the content manager went away. After 2 mandatory updates last week it’s back again but no folder. I do have for whatever reason several official folders, one can be explained because it’s in the windows.old directories but all these others are empty. I had to do a windows repair hence the .old folders but it seems that uninstalling MSFS does not remove all the folders, wouldn’t expect it to do much with the Community one but it left the others. Does anybody know why the directory structure changes depending on where you’ve installed MSFS in that the location of Community and Official folders are vastly different.
