I cannot get it to start. I’ve got a few hours “real time” in this model in my logbook and I recall it was a bit of a pig to start, but it would eventually go. Obviously I’m missing something in 2024.

Before starting, move the mixture lever with your mouse. After that it will start normally. it’s bug in carenado MSFS2024 aircraft.

Is fuel switch on a tank? Is fuel pump on?

Did you remove the engine cooling intake plugs? I didn’t know they were there and spent a good amount of time trying to start it even though this is the wrong behavior if those plugs are left in. It started fine once removed

You have to prime the engine first

You don’t have to prime. I haven’t. But it does seem it’s critical to move the mixture lever with mouse first which I do normally - explains why I’ve not had an issue.

Thanks everyone, the mixture control operation was the problem. Subsequently enjoyed a very nice flight and this is staying in my hangar. As it happens one of the liveries matched the aircraft I flew so it’s now got the old registration on it.

Same here couldn’t get any fuel pressure until manipulating mixture control with the mouse. I always use my bound controllers. Thanks for the heads up to everyone.
