I wanted to reduce the size of my rolling cache and was ok with deleting it if necessary, as it was with msfs 2020.
Now, on 2024, there are only two options (no “delete cache”) and if I try to reduce the existing size, it gives me an error telling me that it can be only increased.
Does anybody know what can I do to reduce it, please?
Does the allocated size reflects on my SSD or does it take space as I download data during my flights?

A reinstall might work. What size is your cache? What size do you want it to be?
You can increase the size by clicking on the box then backspace and type the size you want then click enter and save. To delete it completely and start over fresh, log out and go to the local cache folder and delete the rolling cache file. It will rebuild on next start. Then do step 1 above to increase.
Reinstall of sim is not necessary.
