Cannot save .PLN files

Cannot save .pln file.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Load into 3D world then try to save a .pln file

I also tried manually changing the file extension.

(I was trying this because NavLog does not show the IFR routing, just the final destination. Normally I just use SimBrief but it is down. So I wanted to export my MSFS planned route to Volanta without having to return to main menu and reload into 3D world).

When you save a .flt file it also saves a .pln file too in the same location. This is so you can load back into the same flight with same conditions/parameters as well as having a .pln file to reload the flightplan.

The .pln file is a Flight Plan.

. pln file can only be saved from the World Map where a Flight Plan is created. From and To destinations are required for a Plan.

From the World Map :
save .flt results in a saved .FLT & .PLN & .SPB files
save .pln results in a saved .PLN file
->(.SPB visable in File Explorer only)

Anywhere while flying: ( FLY clicked and left the World Map)
save .flt results in a saved .FLT & .SPB files
->(.SPB visable in File Explorer only)
You cannot save a .PLN file

Not from within the 3D world. Look at the screenshots - that’s the in flight pause screen.

The dialog box says you can though. So it’s the dialog box that is wrong?
