I’ve noticed that the instrument panel is almost invisible on night flights. Is there any way to turn on the any form of interior lighting on the Xbox version of MSFS. I’m using the Xbox controller.
I did do a quick search and most of the replies were for the PC version.

If you hide your Yoke you’ll see there’s a glare shield knob adjuster hiding underneath towards your key ignition switch, usually set to 0% default and there is a cabin lighting one on the bank of switches that has your taxi, landing lights etc. As for an instrument backlight? Not that i’m aware of. I have done a night flight being able to suffice with I think just the glare shield at say 65.
Thanks, I’ll look out for that. The main issue I had was that I cannot make things out in the cockpit to mouse the cursor around. I was hoping there’d a be controller button just to switch some lighting on when you start a flight and are on a runway.
Always take your first flight in something in the daytime so you get familiarized and remove that dam yoke so you can see what’s hiding back there

There is a flashlight for the pilot that you can bind to a key.
I am not sure it is called exactly that in your msfs, as I am not using the english version.

I’m just using the Xbox controller at the moment so button mapping is already limited. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse on order so I should soon be able to map some keys to make things easier.
I see. I use a chatpad on the controller plus a wireless numpad

That looks awesome! Does the wireless numpad use a USB receiver?
yes it came with a USB Bluetooth Stick.
You need a USB Bluetooth stick for it to work on Xbox.
Same for the Chatpad.
