Description of the issue:
When selecting “Legacy” for cockpit interaction, the setting always reverts back to “Lock” immediately. This setting cannot be changed. This causes issues as when moving around the cockpit in freelook, flight/instrument controls are highlighted by simply moving the camera over them (even when not in pointer mode).

Start sim on Xbox
Change cockpit interaction to “Legacy”
Save change, exit settings, return to settings and see “Legacy” selection has reverted back to “Lock”

• I believe the OP is describing two separate issues. Whe I select “Legacy” mode, it simply revets back to “Lock”. I am also on Xbox Series X. I’ll raise the freelook issue in a separate post if there isn’t one already.

Description of the issue: While the Freelook “White Dot” can be disabled, doing so does not prevent the center of the screen from activating control and switches. The “Legacy” option (I think) would force MSFS 2024 to mimic 2020, where ditching the dot also ditches select-ability (desired behavior). The “Legacy” option “sticks” properly on the PC version. But on the XBOX, “Lock” returns the moment the user leaves the options screen.

• even when using only mouse and keyboard, without an xbox controller, it’s impossible to choose legacy interaction

Description of the issue: I cannot choose the legacy cockpit interaction mode on Xbox. When I click on the arrow to change it, “Legacy” flashes briefly then immediately changes back to “Lock”
