I have this error code popping up when trying to start the game. It seems to be related to windows updates. Any idea to fix this? Thanks.

Had this too. Installed new Nvidia driver, restarted pc and then it worked again.

Seems like Smart App Control is blocking it. But why? It worked until yesterday. The only thing changed was a security update by windows. Why should Microsoft smart app control block a Microdoft Game?!
Went back to a restore point a couple of days ago, now it works. Haven`t found another solution.
I believe some folks were saying that Windows Defender was blocking the .exe due to a recent update. This could be the same thing.
Well the security update is installed again, and again it is not working. Where have you read it, was it recently? Tried to exclude the program from the defender, but it did not work. The problem might be the smart app control. Is there a solution to this? Noone else with this problem so far?!
