Cannot steer Blackbird/Milviz PC6 Porter

I have just bought the PC6 from the Blackbird website. Although I have set all the trims correctly I cannot steer the aircraft on the ground. It will not turn when I use input from the rudder. It generally tries to turn to the left when I increase power but it will not turn to the right. My rudder pedals are the VelocityOne rudder pedals from Turtle Beach. I have the tail wheel unlocked and the control locks unlocked.

I’m running MSFS on Steam.
Does anyone have an idea as to how i can fix this ? Thanks.

Had the same problem on PC: If you’re using FsRealistics ensure that the wind effect (don’t remember the exact name) is disabled.

Yup. I was just going to say the same thing. It’s the wind ambience feature. Turn the motion slider for that effect to zero and it should work while still having the audio effects.

I thought it was the prop-wash, which should be deactivated in FSRealistic? It is a problem with the JF Tomahawk…

I guess anything that externally manipulates the movement of the aircraft has the potential to break something.
