Cannot sync data with cloud right now

Good morning,

This morning I had a Windows 11 update. After restarting the PC,and starting the sim, I receive the Game UI popup saying “we cannot sync your data with the cloud right now”. If I select “play offline”, I get the Please insert MSFS game disk message. Completely unable to start the sim.
Internet is obviously working. I’m posting from the same PC.
I am also correctly logged in to the XBOX app.

Does anyone have a pointer ?

Same here. Seems like Microsoft has troubles with their login servers.

Hi , I had this 12 hours ago, tried signing off and signing on again a few times with the MS Account and then it worked.

Yep same thing here with the same message

Both the XBox app and the windows account of the PC itself

Just looged out xbox then logged back in again and taht worked for me

Another possible reason for anyone who use the mentioned method above but still has the issue.

Uninstall Gaming Services application from windows setting. You do not have to reinstall it as it installs automatically.

Never seen this one before.

Any user-level “solution” is only a temporary fix/placebo until MS resolves the server issues on their end.

are you guys still having this issue? every time i try to launch this game it pops up saying we cannot sync data to cloud. ive tried rebooting my pc and deleting and reinstalling the game nothing works. ive also logged out from the xbox app still nothing
