I have the same issue with a ground texture addon and LVFR static aircraft addon I purchased via the marketplace when I was playing the on Xbox. But since moving to PC for 2020 I have long since removed those from my sim. But now in 2024 they are forced in my streamed content and causing issue when loading into the sim. However there is no way to disable it at the moment but makes the sim basically unplayable.
Yes i also have the LVFR Static aircraft from 2020 another one i suspect is causing issues.
Why wasn’t just the BUY option not disabled in marketplace?? This all seems very fishy to me. If the reason was to give devs time to work on their addons (which is okay) why stream that same (probably faulty) content to us without option to disable it?
You want us to wait a month or more for this to get fixed? When are you planning to re-open the marketplace if this option is LINKED to it?
The marketplace was delayed at launch.
The reason for that is that MSFS wanted some time to be able to work on issues that arose in the base sim before the other content was added to the mixture.
Ok, and by doing this forced download they seem to have created the exact issue they were reportedly trying to avoid. Irony has entered the chat.
But the base version includes all 3rd party addons. Many with just a old version. It makes no sense at all. ^^
Yes, for sure, sometimes plans have a way of doing just that!
• yes we need option to disable 2020 addons. Latin vfr kfll missing all buildings only jetways show. We need to be able to disable these asap

Description of the issue: while it is nice to see all my store purchases from 2020 being transferred to 2024, this includes packages, especially scenery which is not compatible with 2024 yet, resulting in LOD/terrain errors and such. But how the xxx can I delete these items as they are streamed and not physically installed? I can select them in My Library but nothing else?

I have this issue with multiple airports that were “broken” by world updates and never fixed. ORBX for example had a great KAVX and then Asobo made one for a world update and it changed the terrain. Now, 2024 streams the old broken ORBX 2020 version and I can’t stop it.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

Same issue here. Very unfortunate as I cannot use for example my home airport EDDH any more.
MSFS2024 now streams the EDDH MSFS2020 version from BREDOK3D, resulting in missing most buildings, wrong mesh etc.
Option to not use these MSFS2020 imports is needed.
Great. This will help me get rid of my conflicts plus the Orbx P750. For me, it comes into the aircraft selection, but there is no picture of the aircraft and no text, and if you click on it and try Configure it immediately crashes the sim for me. (The irony was I bought it specifically FOR 2024 last year because it had configurations for various mission types).

Can someone clarify exactly which folder the empty one needs to be created in? Is it the actual community folder or the “2024 official” one? I’ve been holding off on even buying 2024 because of this issue because I had purchased those old Zinertek airport runway/taxiway textures when 2020 was new and also the Origami EGKK which I have heard breaks the sim as well. With this potential workaround I’m leaning toward buying it now.
My understanding is the 2024 folders have Community, “official 2024”, and “official 2020”. I know those last two aren’t the actual names, but that’s what they hold. So the workaround is the actual Community folder? Then do we delete the downloaded stuff out of the “Streamed Package” folder?
