Cant access the update?

Anyone in here give some advice as to why i can’t access the WU6 update?
I get told to go to the store, but faced with no option to install the update?

I had that last update. I downloaded the Xbox app and it then appeared for me. Have you downloaded the small(ish) update in marketplace first as well?

Try the xbox app download. Many users including myself this worked for,

Is there an option there to update game?/ manage game files?| seem to remember I had to do that if i remember correctly

I had the same issue too. I managed to finally get the update appearing in the store after executing (not installing) the Xbox app - don´t ask me why ! but it worked. try that…

Go to the three lines top left column under the xbox logo of the app ( one line is at a slant) try and update it from there/ manage installs??

thanks, that worked for me now… installed Xbox app, then did ‘get updates’ again in microsoft store, and MSFS has now appeared as an update and is downloading

I had to install the Xbox app to get the update downloading.

Go to the store, search for “xbox” and download the “xbox” app (only “xbox”). After the installation of this app, wait about one minute and, at microsoft store, click in “search for updates”. Now you will see a 500mb MSFS update. Download it and, so, start the sim to download the update.

Roughest update to date, they should have giving instruction for this update WOW, I bet the microsoft tech support phone lines are burning up.

Well,with grateful thanks to pointers here I got there - eventually - but like everyone else frustrations along the way and it didn’t work until I rebooted the PC. I think for me the update problem isn’t only that it seems to be unnecessarily convoluted but that it is a different process almost every time and not a word of guidance from the organisation. I am always apprehensive around the time of impending updates

Finally updating successfully. For me, I didn’t have “English (United States) Language Pack” installed…
