My career Vision jet is stuck in and around the Swiss Alps, all charter missions lead into or close by the Alps and i cannot seem to escape the area…
I had the idea of buying a 2nd Vision jet, locating it for delivery in Africa then switching the Alps jet to crewed and the new one to my jet to fly. However, no matter what i switch to crewed and uncrewed, my mission map always takes me to the jet in the Alps and i have no control over the jet in Afica.
Is this normal?
Yes just choose a mission near your jet in Africa.
Also, if you have not yet put 2 and 2 together. Most VIP missions are a one way trip with no flights out.
No I don’t think you’ve understood sorry. I can’t choose a mission in Africa as there isn’t any. The pilot icon with my jet is and always is in the Alps. That is where the mission range area is. I’ve even transferred my active jet to Africa ( in the globe map screen under manage aircraft) but it still shows both me and the jet in the Alps
I understand 100%. That is the problem with VIP missions…the missions are very limited. You will have to relocate either plane to get your next mission.
That’s what I’ve done yet still end up in the Alps
It does not matter if you (pilot icon) are in the Alps. When you take a mission in the area of your other plane you want to use, you automatically show up to fly it.
I understand what you are saying and thank you for helping but there isn’t any missions in the Africa area
Open up the world and try to find missions. That is the only way. Again VIP missions are extremely limited across the globe. You are going to struggle to make any credits. I suggest you get into flying cargo. Missions are plentiful.
Why Asobo designed VIP flights to be so limited is beyond me. They appear to be in no hurry to fix it.
Thanks. Yeah I’m thinking about going back to cargo. The catch is with VIP missions is you can’t open up the world of there isn’t many to choose from
If you have some credits you can use fast travel to open up areas. Zoom into an airport in an area you want to “open” and click it and it will show the fast travel fee to open it. Click fast travel if you want to spend the credits and open the area.
Didn’t see that. That’s in career globe view?
Yes it is.
