Description of the issue:
Hello. I can’t start the game on my PC because the download of the game files doesn’t start. On launching the game I get the “Server problem detected” screen with error code 001-1035 and then a screen with “Internet connection is required.” I have a working Internet connection, no firewall problems, etc. I checked everything I could. The game starts fine on my laptop in the same network (no error; game files download begins).

from 1600 UTC i am getting this error. I was about to reinstall windows in some moments but … Now i feel a bit more relaxed that i am not isolated case…
Does any1 have some idea what shall we try?
I did some test, error is poping nomatter do i have internet connection or not , i disabled IPv4 adapter., same thing… all other software is working like charm… WOT , streaming…
So okay i managed to went through 001-1035 error. I’m not sure which of my steps worked, and you need to be really careful then you proceed with that.
Error vanished after i removed CryptoPro application, and after that removed all certificates with C=RU in subject of certificate.
However this for sure break some resources for me. But MSFS is downloading now.
I also experience the same issue.
Deleting certificates or other apps not related to MSFS 2024 in order to play is unacceptable solution.
I bought the game via Steam yesterday and still cannot pass “Check your connection status” screen.

You need to not be lazy and read the topic.
Second. You need to identify certificates that interfere with the launch of the 2024 simulator and disable them.
Out of 33 certificates, I disabled only 7.

I disabled almost everything besides Microsoft, Adobe, etc., but it still doesn’t connect. I also tried different VPNs, with and without, but the result is the same.
Just to confirm solution.
In certmgr found all certificates published by my country (RS) and disabled them. You can keep fs2024 live while you are disabling them and the moment it register it will start downloading. Otherwise you probably missed one.
Just go trough each category and check if you missed some cert (if disabled intendent purpose will be “None” to make it easier)
