Can't find the CJ4s

I open Flight Simulator from the start menu. I open as administrator. I then open the World Map, I select the aircraft box, only one CJ4 shows up (the Textron Aviation CJ4). I go back to the home page, select profile, then select content manager. I put “CJ4” in the search box. There are 8 CJ4s shown as “Installed” and “Up to Date”. Why do these CJ4s not show up when I select the aircraft box from the World Map. I have version 1.32.7 of the game. It is the latest version per the Flight Simulator Forum.

Also, I would like to get the AAU1 update. It does not show up in the content manager, nor in the marketplace. Can I still get it? Where is it?

Those are liveries and the WT mod is already in the CJ4 so you have the CJ4 and the AAU1 update

Hello, your topic has been moved into Community Support. The wishlist is for community voting of features you’d like to see incorporated into MSFS.

Thank you for the quick reply. What is the WT mod. I understand that I probably already have the AAU1 update. But, why do I not see the other CJ4s in my hangar?

The other CJ4s are liveries and the WT mod is the aau1 thing it’s intergrrated

WT Mod is Working Title mod.

Working Title is a developer that has enhanced some of the default aircraft, chiefly with avionics. There is a thing you can download on the marketplace which adds their fancy high fidelity garmin systems into the default aircraft. The AAU Update is on the marketplace

otherwise You need to opt into the beta in order to get the AAU content

AAU1 is default in the sim no marketplace needed

I understand why you would move this topic into the “Community Support” forum. But I do not understand your reference to community voting or a wishlist. My comments should not be a wishlist, but is something that should be readily available in flight simulator. Unfortunately, I am too old to figure it out.

Hello @billmeier1951,
You had originally posted this in the wishlist subcategory #msfs:wishlist

Correct. Which is why I moved your topic out of #msfs:wishlist
You may have posted there by mistake. :+1:

OH my!! I did not know that I was posting there. Thank you for moving this post. I will try harder the next time to post in the correct category.

OMG!!, Thank you very much! You solved my problem. You did not give me the direct solution, but you used the keyword (liveries). When I selected World Map, then the “Aircraft” button, I noticed that there was an “aircraft selection” and a “LIVERIES” button. When I clicked on liveries, sure enough, all of the CJ4s were there. Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction.

Now I have to figure out why my knobs all turn yellow and require a left or right mouse movement to increase or decrease the selection. However, ALL of the youtube videos that I watched for the Cessna Citation show an increase or decrease arrow over each of the knobs when selected (by hovering over the knob with the mouse). Then you left click on the mouse to increase or decrease the selection. I believe that these are changes that occurred with the new avionics updates. I even selected youtube videos based on when they were downloaded. I looked at one that was fairly new. It still showed something that was not what I have. Maybe I will delete the avionics updates and see what happens then.

That’s normal, just use your mouse to move the knobs, I believe some of the tutorials were before a certain update

In MSFS’ settings you can switch between Legacy and Lock interaction mode.

LOCK interaction mode was introduced a long time ago and the way it works is that you hold the left mouse button on a knob and then you can turn it by moving the mouse or using the scroll wheel.
But you can also switch back to Legacy and it will work as before.

Thank you for your help, but I cannot make it work. I have loaded the latest NVidia update. I have tried with the 536.23 drivers, the 535.98 drivers, and the 526.98 drivers. I now have the 536.23 driver which is the latest today. The mouse works better with the Garmin G1000 avionics upgrade off. When I turn it on, nothing works. When I turn it off, the mouse hovers over a knob (like the heading knob in the autopilot) and sometimes the knob will turn yellow and work, and sometimes the knob will turn blue and stay blue and not work. Sometimes when I push the AP button in the autopilot, it will turn yellow and will turn on the autopilot. Sometimes it will just stay blue and not work. I have to move the mouse cursor around on the button to make it work. I am doing something wrong, but I cannot figure out what it is. I have tried to change the mouse action in the controls options. When I change from the default to mouse option 2. Things seem to work better, but not after takeoff. Only when I am sitting on the ground. It is something in the controls option, but I don’t know what it is. I still have to move around with the mouse cursor over a button or knob to make things work.
